Denver & Beyond
@prettylittledrinks_
I never set out to become a cocktail person. It happened the way the best things do — accidentally, late on a Friday, with half a lime, some leftover tequila, and the stubborn belief that this could be better.
That's always been my approach: start with what's at hand. A grapefruit that needs using. A bottle of gin you forgot you had. A sprig of rosemary from the windowsill. The pantry isn't a limitation — it's a starting point.
What I love is the alchemy of it. Taking something ordinary — a classic recipe, a leftover ingredient, a drink you had at a bar and couldn't stop thinking about — and elevating it. A better ice cube. A smoked rim. A syrup you made yourself. The difference between a good drink and a great one is almost always one small, intentional decision.
This site is where I keep those decisions. Every recipe here started somewhere real — a rooftop in Denver, a kitchen counter on a Sunday, a bar menu that made me want to go home and figure out how they did it. They're all yours now.
